What We Collect

• Anonymous and pseudonymous usage telemetry (such as app launches, feature usage, and navigation patterns)
• Permission states (for example, whether contacts, photos, notifications, or calendar access are enabled)
• Aggregated, non-identifying metadata used to improve app performance and reliability

What We Don’t Collect

• The content of your notes, reflections, or reminders
• The names, phone numbers, or details of your contacts
• The contents of your photos or attachments
• Location data
• Advertising identifiers or data used for targeted advertising

How Your Data Stays Private

• All personal content stays on your device or in your iCloud.
• Mooma cannot access, read, or sell any user data we don't collect.
• We collect only anonymized usage telemetry (see Analytics) — we do not collect personal content.
• Because we don’t collect your personal content, there’s nothing for us to sell or share.

Your data belongs entirely to you. You control it through your Apple settings — not through us.

3. About iCloud

When you use Tize, any syncing or backups happen directly through Apple’s iCloud services. That means your information is protected by Apple’s encryption and governed by their iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Mooma never intermediates or stores copies of your data.

In short: your notes, reminders, and insights are between you and your iCloud — not us.

Analytics

Tize uses PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to collect anonymized and pseudonymous usage telemetry. This data helps us understand how features are used and where the app can be improved.

Analytics data does not include the content of your notes, contacts, or photos, and is not used for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking. Aggregated metrics cannot be linked back to individual users or their personal content.

Separately, the only diagnostic data we might receive is through Apple’s anonymous crash reporting (if you’ve opted in through iOS settings). These reports contain no personal information and help us improve app stability.

Apple App Store Privacy Disclosure

• User Content: Stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account
• Contacts: Accessed only with permission and used solely for in-app functionality
• Usage Data: Collected in anonymized form for analytics
• Identifiers: Pseudonymous analytics identifiers only
• Tracking: Tize does not track users across apps or websites

Data Deletion & iCloud Storage

You can edit or delete your content at any time directly within the app. Because your data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account, deleting the app or disabling iCloud sync will remove access to your data.

Tize does not maintain copies of your personal content on its own servers and cannot retrieve or restore data on your behalf. iCloud storage and security are governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy practices.

5. Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete any note or entry at any time — it’s removed from your device and your iCloud.
• Delete the Tize app — and all local data disappears with it.
• Manage what’s synced through your iCloud settings on your Apple device.

6. Changes

If Tize introduces features that require online storage or new data collection, we will update this page clearly before you use them. We aim to be transparent — no surprises.
